#A highlight at the beginning of 2014

On Saturday night 25th January our minister and his wife joined YMCA London South West's annual Sleepeasy fund-raising event in support of Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness and the YMCA's own work with the homeless. Over 100 people slept out in Kingston's Memorial Gardens. Ken has blogged about the experience at


#On Sunday 19th January 2014 we held an evening service marking the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

Following our minister's visit to Korea for the Tenth Assembly of the World Council of Churches, he spoke about his sense of what it is to belong together in unity. Ken also blogged about his trip -


#In 2013-14 we have again been a venue for Kingston's winter night shelter for the homeless, when we have been the duty church on Wednesday nights through from December to mid-January.


#On Easter Sunday we held a breakfast for around 40 of us including the Immanuel Korean Church. We enjoyed a happy international atmosphere, sharing Easter greetings in the 9 languages that were native to us.

 Summit on Climate Change a few years ago we took up the idea of the World Council of Churches and rang our bell 350 times.

 350 is the number of
 parts per million the poorer
 nations think should be the
 maximum permitted for
 CO2 emissions!
